Recruiting Support Specialist

Susan Graham Consulting (SGC) is celebrating 20 years in business, and we’re excited to grow our team as we look toward the next chapter! We’re looking for a Recruiting Support Specialist who wants to sink their teeth into the recruiting world and become an important part of our team. This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be handed a list of tasks each day. We’re looking for a self-starter with a creative and proactive mindset who enjoys figuring things out, connecting with people, and looking for new ways to make things happen. This position will touch many different areas of our business. You’ll support our recruiting team in the day-to-day effort of finding and attracting great talent, help develop creative ways to reach candidates, and bring new ideas to how we approach recruiting and candidate outreach. You’ll also have an opportunity to help with marketing, social media, email campaigns, market development, and ideas for expanding the SGC brand beyond our Central PA roots.

Responsibilities

The Recruiting Support Specialist will work closely with our recruiting team to identify, research, and attract candidates for positions across a variety of industries and disciplines. You’ll help recruiters build candidate pipelines, conduct sourcing and outreach, develop engaging messaging, and identify creative new ways to connect with talent.

You’ll also help support our recruiting team behind the scenes by researching markets, identifying recruiting trends, finding new sourcing strategies, and helping keep searches moving forward. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just wait for the next assignment, but sees an opportunity and asks, “What else can we do?”

This role will also have a marketing and business-development component. You’ll assist with social media, email campaigns, marketing materials, web content, and other creative efforts designed to help grow the SGC brand. You’ll have the opportunity to help us explore new ways to market SGC and expand our reach into markets and areas beyond Central Pennsylvania.

Most importantly, we want this person to become a true champion of the SGC brand and an active contributor to the team. Every day may look a little different, and that’s exactly what makes this role exciting.

Required Experience

We’re looking for someone with excellent communication and writing skills who genuinely enjoys talking with people. You should be comfortable learning new technology and able to pick up new tools and systems quickly.

Recruiting, staffing, inside sales, customer service, marketing, social media, or business-development experience is helpful, but we’re willing to consider someone who has the right personality and mindset and is eager to learn the recruiting business.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, creative, energetic, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. You should be someone who takes initiative, enjoys solving problems, and is willing to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed.

Social media, marketing, SEO, email marketing, or web-content experience is a plus, particularly for someone who enjoys using their creative side to attract people and build a brand.

Preferred Experience

Above all else, we’re looking for the right person — someone who wants to grow, wants to learn, and wants to be part of what we’re building. If you’re looking for a position where you can bring your personality and ideas to the table, learn the recruiting industry, work alongside an experienced team, and have an opportunity to grow with a company that has been doing this for 20 years, this could be a great opportunity to join the SGC family.
