Configure, maintain, and support enterprise security infrastructure and technologies across a complex network environment.
Implement and maintain security standards, policies, procedures, and technical controls designed to protect systems, networks, applications, and data.
Monitor security environments and identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and weaknesses using security logs, network analysis, system monitoring, and other security tools.
Investigate security events and perform technical log reviews to identify suspicious or potentially malicious activity.
Assist with enterprise security event monitoring, correlation, and incident response activities across a large, distributed technology environment.
Analyze security alerts and event data, research potential sources, determine appropriate response strategies, and assist with remediation and mitigation efforts.
Support the administration and operational oversight of enterprise endpoint security and protection technologies.
Assist with the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of cybersecurity tools and technologies.
Respond to internal technical tickets involving network security, cybersecurity, access, and related technology issues.
Assist with developing security reports, threat analytics, and other intelligence used to identify and address enterprise-wide security concerns.
Identify and communicate security vulnerabilities, technical risks, and recommended solutions to security leadership and other IT stakeholders.
Assist with routine security audits, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, active security monitoring, and enforcement of established security policies.
Collaborate with IT teams and other stakeholders to troubleshoot security-related issues and strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent technical experience will be considered.
Experience in IT security, cybersecurity, network security, systems administration, or a closely related technical environment.
Strong understanding of network security concepts, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security controls.
Experience reviewing and analyzing security logs, alerts, and system or network activity.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
Experience working with security monitoring, SIEM, endpoint security, vulnerability scanning, or related cybersecurity technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to investigate technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Ability to identify security risks and vulnerabilities and assist with developing effective mitigation strategies.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of technical information and security data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with technical and security teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.
Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or similar are a plus.
