Business Applications Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Applications Developer to serve as an immediate backfill for an internal role during a critical ERP conversion period. This position is focused on day-one production support, SQL/reporting, and maintenance of existing .NET applications, ensuring business continuity while enterprise systems are being transitioned.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Provide immediate production support for critical business applications
• Maintain and enhance existing C#/.NET applications
• Design, develop, and support system integrations using RESTful APIs
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and reporting (DB2 and SQL Server)
• Support business continuity during ongoing ERP conversion initiatives
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues quickly and effectively
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure stability of existing systems
• Manage source control, builds, and deployments using Git
• Document technical processes and support procedures as needed

Required Experience

Required Skills & Experience
This role requires a senior-level developer who can contribute immediately in a production environment:
• 7+ years of application development experience preferred (5+ minimum with strong depth)
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET application development
• Proven experience supporting production systems in a live environment
• Strong SQL development and reporting skills (DB2 and/or Microsoft SQL Server) — this is a critical focus area
• Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs and backend services
• JavaScript development experience
• Experience working in structured environments with Git, ticketing systems, and deployment workflows
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and incident resolution skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a high-urgency environment

He/she will communicate on a daily basis with CFO with regards to any change orders or issues/concerns with invoicing the job. He/she will take job meetings and provide minutes from those meetings to share with the office. He/she will pull permits and call for inspections. He/she will work with other subcontractors and organize fire alarm, security, etc. He/she will coordinate with the job foreman and make sure all close out documents, time sheets and paperwork are sent back to the office. Oversees the safety of the job site and makes sure all toolbox talks are completed weekly. If there are any special safety concerns, makes owners and office aware of them.
