Territory Sales Consultant (External / Field-Based)

A growth-oriented organization is seeking a relationship-driven sales professional to manage and expand business within an assigned region. This role blends client development, account management, and solution-based selling across commercial and infrastructure-related markets. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Account Management
* Pursue and develop new customer relationships within the assigned territory
* Maintain and expand existing client partnerships through consistent communication
* Monitor potential projects, opportunities, and emerging accounts

Sales Execution
* Work toward established personal sales and growth targets
* Prepare proposals, pricing estimates, and presentations in a timely manner
* Track quotes, follow up on outstanding opportunities, and maintain pipeline visibility

Market & Product Awareness
* Stay informed on market conditions, competitive landscape, and industry trends
* Maintain current knowledge of product updates, specifications, and applicable standards
* Identify opportunities where innovative or customized solutions may add value

Collaboration & Communication
* Coordinate with internal support teams to ensure accurate information and service delivery
* Participate in regional meetings, training sessions, and company initiatives
* Share feedback from the field to improve processes and offerings

Professional Conduct
* Represent the organization with integrity and professionalism
* Build long-term trust with customers and partners
* Demonstrate adaptability and commitment to achieving results

Required Experience

Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field – or – equivalent professional experience
* 4–7 years of experience in external/field sales, account management, or business development
* Experience working with technical, industrial, commercial, or project-based customers preferred
