Web & Graphic Designer

A growing organization is seeking a talented Web & Graphic Designer to join its creative team and develop engaging, modern digital and print experiences. This role is primarily focused on web design, UX/UI, and digital content, while also providing opportunities to work on branding and print design. The ideal candidate is both creative and technically minded, with a strong understanding of design fundamentals and a passion for creating thoughtful user experiences. This person will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and help bring brands and ideas to life through compelling visual design.

Responsibilities

Web & Digital Design – Approximately 70%
Design engaging, modern websites with a strong focus on UX/UI and user experience.
Develop wireframes, landing pages, and sitemaps to support website and digital projects.
Create digital assets including infographics, animations, digital advertisements, and other online content.
Develop visual concepts that align with project goals and effectively communicate a brand’s identity.
Execute all stages of the visual design process, from initial discovery and concept development through final hand-off to developer(s).
Collaborate with team members and development partners to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
Stay current with evolving web design trends, techniques, technologies, and best practices.
Apply strong design fundamentals while continuing to explore new and innovative approaches.

Print & Graphic Design – Approximately 30%
Develop branding and visual identity materials.
Create publication and marketing layouts.
Design print advertisements and other promotional materials.
Apply strong principles of typography, composition, hierarchy, and visual consistency across projects.
Ensure designs maintain a cohesive visual identity across both digital and print applications.

Required Software & Technical Skills
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
Illustrator
InDesign
Photoshop
Experience using Figma.
Strong understanding of UX/UI and web design principles.
Knowledge of coding, HTML/CSS, or web development is a plus, but not required.
Understanding of responsive web design and digital design best practices is preferred.

Required Experience

Demonstrated experience in web, digital, and graphic design with a strong portfolio.
Strong creative instincts balanced with an understanding of fundamental design principles.
Passion for design and genuine interest in creating high-quality work.
Positive, inquisitive attitude with a willingness to ask questions, learn, and explore new ideas.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual consistency.
Ability to take ownership of projects and move them from discovery through final delivery.
Comfortable working collaboratively with designers, developers, and other team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to stay current with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
