Part-Time Attorney (Flexible / As-Needed Hours)

We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented Attorney to support our team on a part-time, flexible basis (approximately 8–12 hours per week). This role is ideal for an attorney looking to remain engaged in the legal profession without the demands of a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide guidance on a variety of legal documents, agreements, and communications
• Advise on employee-related matters, including policies, compliance, and workplace situations
• Support collections efforts, including reviewing correspondence and advising on next steps
• Identify potential legal risks and provide practical, business-focused recommendations
• Offer general legal counsel to leadership on an as-needed basis
• Ensure all work aligns with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices

Required Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law (state licensure required)
• 8+ years of legal experience, with strong preference for generalist background
• Experience in employment law, contracts, and/or collections is highly preferred
• Strong judgment and ability to provide clear, practical guidance
• Ability to work independently and manage work on a flexible, as-needed basis

Oversees the safety of the job site and makes sure all toolbox talks are completed weekly. If there are any special safety concerns, makes owners and office aware of them.
