ETL and PowerBI Developer

Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services – SSIS and Azure Data Factory – ADF, ETL package and Power BI visualization development.

Responsibilities

• Build SSIS and ADF ETL processes to fulfill architecture designed by the Data Architect
• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports
• Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models
• Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts
• Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI

Required Experience

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence stack: SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
• Proficiency or familiarity with data science, business intelligence, and data analytics
• Expertise with data integration, data warehousing, and modeling- especially star-schema, snowflake, and relational design concepts
• Experience with BI tools, specifically Microsoft Power BI
• Able to build rich dashboards, write DAX expressions, and also implement security
• Knowledge about database management, SQL querying, data modeling, Online Analytical Processing

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related field, or equivalent years of experience required • Minimum 5+ years of experience with SSIS, BIDS, and/or ADF • Minimum 2-3 years of experience of working with BI tools • 2+ years of experience working with source control tools like Azure DevOps, Visual SourceSafe, Team Foundation Server, and/or GitHub • Strong analytical skills to organize and analyze significant data sets with attention to detail and accuracy
