Enterprise Business Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Business Systems Administrator to oversee the performance, support, and continuous improvement of a broad range of internal software platforms used across the organization. This role is essential in maintaining stable and efficient technology operations while ensuring business users have reliable tools to perform their daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset. This individual will collaborate with multiple departments to identify system enhancements, resolve issues, and support long-term technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and support business-critical software applications across multiple departments
Coordinate with software vendors and internal teams on updates, enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution
Apply system patches, upgrades, and configuration changes in a controlled environment
Monitor application health, usage, and performance to identify risks or improvement opportunities
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely end-user support
Evaluate business workflows and recommend process improvements through technology solutions
Manage software licensing, renewals, and compliance requirements
Maintain security settings, access controls, and data protection standards across systems
Develop documentation including procedures, system configurations, training materials, and user guides
Support testing, change management, and implementation of new tools or system enhancements
Assist with reporting needs, data management, and system analytics
Prioritize multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines
Travel occasionally to company sites or branch locations as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in application administration, systems support, or enterprise software management
Strong knowledge of software lifecycle management including deployment, upgrades, maintenance, and user support
Experience troubleshooting business applications and working directly with end users
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Experience with user training and change management initiatives

Preferred Experience

Background supporting ERP, accounting, operations, or field service platforms Familiarity with SQL queries, reporting tools, or database structures Understanding of finance, inventory, or service operations workflows Experience in construction, manufacturing, distribution, or service-based industries Exposure to cloud-based SaaS platforms and vendor management
