Systems Analyst

This position uses business and technical skills to analyze, implement, and support solutions to improve performance and efficiency for the appellate case management system and web applications

Responsibilities

* Validates application design, collaborates with developers and second-level staff to test new functionality and reports issues to the developers.
* Analyzes, classifies, and tracks detailed customer requirements and uses them during system and regression testing.
* Works with developers to create detailed functional and technical specifications. Reviews screen, form, and report prototypes against defined requirements.
* Performs analysis and testing tasks to ensure that functionality meets user needs and works with analysts to understand problems and issues thoroughly.
* Participates in design as part of development/analyst team.
* Validate data and provide metadata updates in support of application requirements working with County Customization.
* Performs second-level support activities to monitor, track, and resolve issues. Conducts analysis for troubleshooting and resolution.
* Assists in analyzing and maintaining user-customizable values, as well as in cleaning up and validating data.
* Works with analysts, developers, and trainers to understand application enhancements to develop testing requirements.
* Develops Use Case Scenarios and test Plans/Cases.

Required Experience

* Experience with SQL
* Three years of professional experience in system analysis
* A satisfactory criminal check is required
