Key responsibilities may include:
• Handling of client related support tickets and communications.
• Address technical issues and troubleshoot server-related problems and resolve them efficiently.
• Web, DNS & E-Mail server management and maintenance
• Assist the CTO in server access, security, performance, and restoration tasks
• Helping in managing server upgrades and migrations
• Creating and maintaining documentation for server configurations and procedures
Technical Skills
• Basic CSS/HTML knowledge and experience
• Moderate JavaScript knowledge and experience ( native, jquery, nodejs )
• Knowledge of MySQL and an understanding of relational databases
• Linux, Apache, Nginx hosting
• Working understanding of SSH, including the ability to navigate using the command line, ability to copy/move/delete files, change permissions on files/directories, use commands like find, grep, tail, vim, etc.
• Networking Principles ( DNS / CNAME / A / SPF / MX / Etc )
• Website and web hosting security/privacy practices
• Working understanding code versioning and source code management tools (GIT, Subversion)
