Recent Community Involvement Activities
In our recent volunteering endeavors, SGC has made significant contributions to local organizations. On March 27, our team dedicated their time at the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey, providing warm meals to families during their time of need. The Ronald McDonald House is crucial for families with hospitalized children, offering them a place to stay near medical facilities.
Continuing our efforts, on April 17, we supported Cocoa Packs by assembling essential food packages. This initiative helps address food insecurity among children and families in Central PA, ensuring they receive necessary nutritional support.
Upcoming Event: The Peyton Walker Foundation Adventure Race
Looking ahead, SGC is excited to be a major sponsor of the Peyton Walker Foundation’s “The Beat Goes On Adventure Race” on May 18. This event is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for sudden cardiac arrest prevention. We strongly encourage community members and businesses in Central PA to join us! For those looking to run with us, the SGC team is running the 2k race at 11:00am, but if you can’t make it, there are other times available – and even a 5k!
