What We’re Grateful for This Holiday Season

Happy holidays!

We love this time of year, from the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping to the parties at school and everything else that’s merry and bright. This season, especially, we’re counting our blessings. It’s been a hard couple of years with COVID-19 and the havoc it has wreaked on people’s lives. We’re thankful that many things have gone back to “normal” and enjoying the chance to gather this season with those we hold dear.

In that spirit, we asked the SGC team to list the things they’re thankful for this season, and they delivered so many wonderful answers! From things that made us laugh to things that made us tear up, this list perfectly summarizes what we’re thankful for as we reach the end of 2022.

Read over our list below, and you may think of a few things you’re grateful for as well. We wish you a wonderful holiday season!

What We’re Grateful for

“I am grateful for my family and friends and the time we get to spend together!”

***

“Always thankful for family and the fact that parents stay with us and healthy!!”

***

“Feeling gratitude for such a beautiful fall this year!”

***

“I am so grateful for my family, my amazing kids who have taught me more about life and how to live. They remind me each day what is most important in this world.  To view the world through the lens of a child is one of life’s greatest blessings.”

***

“I’m thankful for SGC’s kind, fun, and friendly and professional staff.”

***

“I am thankful for my family and the support they offer me while I continue multiple career paths. And I am thankful for my dogs, who have been keeping me company daily as I have been working remotely from home for the last three years.”

***

“I’m thankful for my family and my fur babies.”

***

“I actually am thankful for so many things in my life. Thankful to my parents for bringing me to this lovely planet. I am thankful for my wonderful family, who is always there for me, and my dog. I am thankful for the health of my family and the lifestyle we have. I am thankful that I am able to do things physically that I want to do. In these times, I am also thankful for my house, where I spend a lot of my time. I am thankful for the opportunities I get to learn and grow, and I am thankful for today’s technology, which is always evolving, including Google Photos, which refreshes some old memory for me every day. I am also thankful for the Wi-Fi, so I can work and also get entertained using these streaming services. Last but not least, I am thankful for the spellchecker.”

“It would be hard to single out things I’m grateful for since I truly am grateful for everything and everyone that’s factored into my life. Might sound corny and cliché, but it is true.”
