Sales Analyst

To maintain the Quality Assurance program for the Company that conforms to the Company’s Sales, Marketing, Grow out, Processing and regulatory needs.

The Sales Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and delivering a demand plan for a rolling 26-week period by integrating available information from Sales, Marketing, Customers, and Finance.  This will include but not limited to evaluating and reporting business performance in the following areas, promotional spending, customer profitability, pricing and product utilization.

We are searching for an experienced analyst who can gather this important data and compile it into reports shareholders and departmental managers can use. We need someone that can take charge of a project and deliver results that will make the organization more profitable while continuing to provide exceptional customer service. Our ideal candidate can work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that improves our corporate processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for our business.
  • Sales forecasting
  • Promotional budgeting
  • Promotional spend analysis to determine ROI.
  • Financial modeling-Pricing
  • Variance Analysis
  • Customer Sales administration support & reporting
  • Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.



Required Qualifications (Due to the high volume of applicants, only those who meet the minimum qualifications will be selected for interviews):

  •   Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  •   Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram for  and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  •   Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) I its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstracts and concrete variables.
  •    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  •     Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  •     Proven analytical background
  •     Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
  •     Practical application ability with Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel skills.
  •     Basic knowledge of Sales and Supply Chain operations in a retail and foodservice environment.
  •     Extremely organized with strong time management skills
  •     Ability to multitask while prioritizing daily responsibilities
  •     Strong communication/interpersonal skills
  •     Experience working with senior decision makers
  •     Team player mentality
