This position is primarily responsible for administering the Information Technology needs of the organization by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

  • Resolve IT systems and hardware issues directly ensuring that all issues are resolved in the most effective manner
  • Ensure that all IT systems are available when required with any issues being robustly resolved (or escalated) in a timely manner
  • Manage IT requests
  • Maintains e-Mail accounts
  • Manage and maintain Company IT assets; including but not limited to servers, racks, switches, routers, desktop/laptops, printers/photocopiers, video conferencing/projectors and wireless network
  • Maintain Company hardware and software inventory/register
  • Reviews software application licensing and ensures that all licensing agreements are followed
  • Facilitate the purchase of new equipment for employees
  • Configure new laptops/PCs/cellphones prior to roll-out (connection to Network, software installation, VPN connections for remote users, etc.)
  • Disposal of obsolete IT equipment
  • Maintain local IT supplier relationships and contacts
  • Administration of phone systems
  • Support Company IT production hardware/software
  • Support Company ERP (Oracle) system as needed
  • Create and management the annual IT Budget for the Company


  • Possess good customer service skills and interact well with colleagues at varying levels within organization
  • Work well under pressure and be able to multi task
  • Knowledge of Networking, Active Directory, DHCP and DNS
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times
  • Deal effectively with a wide variety of users and issues
  • Have an understanding of the TCP/IP network protocol
  • Possess a good working knowledge of all current Microsoft operating systems
  • Possess a good working knowledge of all current Microsoft Office products and business related applications
  • Possess a good working knowledge of all current Google business related applications
  • Good working knowledge of technical terms as they relate to PCs, Servers, switches, routers, modems, cabling, and a Networking Infrastructure


  • A High School diploma and at least four years of hands-on experience maintaining computerized equipment in a LAN environment, or an equivalent combination of certification, training and hands on experience in a related field
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Experience working with a wide range of Microsoft & Google products
  • Individual must possess a strong knowledge of basic and technical terms as they relate to PC’s, servers, networking and LAN/WAN environments and the ability to apply these skills successfully
