Skilled Responsibilities:
- Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
- Finish drywall.
- Install interior and exterior trim.
- Painting.
- Repairs framing.
- Install ceiling tiles.
- Install various floor coverings.
- Exterior repairs, including siding and roofing.
- Electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Follow safety rules and regulations, maintain a safe and clean environment. Compliance with local building codes.
- Ability to read sketches and scope paperwork.
- Ability to determine dimensions and materials required for a job.
- Remove damaged sections of structure.
- Transport materials to jobsite.
- Clean up worksite.
- Accurately cut and install materials according to measurements and drawings.
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
- Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
- Provide excellent customer service. Work together as a team.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
- Mentor and assist all team members
- Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers.
- Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
- Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety. Educations, Experience, and Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Four years of experience in residential carpentry.
- Ability to understand diagrams, sketches, building plans, and job scopes.
- Strong work knowledge of job site safety.
- Supply your own hand tools. Proficient in using both electrical and manual equipment.
- Knowledge of mathematics.
- Drug free work zone.
