Senior Process Engineer

The Senior Process Engineer will lead process system initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally with department teams.

Responsibilities

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing mechanical process systems to ensure compliance with industry standards while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Experience

Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and development of mechanical process systems.
* Create Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and system layouts based on project specifications.
* Specify and size system components to meet industry standards and performance criteria.
* Oversee process design efforts across multiple projects, offering technical guidance during design reviews and design-build phases.
* Provide field support for the installation, start-up, and commissioning of process systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical process systems in both new and existing installations.

Preferred Experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience in mechanical/process system design, dairy w/ food & beverage preferred, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering, orother related fields. • In-depth knowledge of mechanical codes applicable to process systems.
