Operations/Plant Manager

We are in search of an Operations Manager, Site Manager, someone with excellent leadership skills and a strong mechanical aptitude who will oversee a plant running 2 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and coordinating training and safety objectives
• Establishing and meeting production and financial goals
• Scheduling of plant personnel
• Maintaining clear dialogue with the customer to determine customer needs and services required
• Developing financial plan that achieves Company and plant goals, developing a Capital Budget
• Administering discipline concerning the violation of Company rules and regulations
• Overseeing plant purchasing, plant/equipment maintenance, and plant/equipment repairs and parts
• Directing all workforce personnel and functions, maintaining and oversees all daily operations of the plant, and direct and indirect supervision of all plant personnel and staff

Required Experience

* Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
* A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on materials management, production, or engineering
* Previous responsibilities of purchasing, producing, inventory control, production control, and engineering, as well as shipping, receiving, and warehousing
* Three to five years’ experience managing staff
* Previous experience with Profit and Loss responsibility
* Working knowledge of contract administration and safety/environmental compliance
