Global Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our product(s), from conception to launch and beyond, by defining the product vision, gathering customer feedback, prioritizing features, collaborating with cross functional teams, and ensuring the product meets business goals and user needs throughout its development and inception in the market.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Drives the new generation of products and new business development for all product lines.
Defines the product roadmap, setting clear goals, and articulating a compelling product & service vision aligned with overall company objectives.
Conducts market research to understand customer needs, competitor landscape, and market trends to inform product development.
Drives revenue growth plan via sales team with detailed price, volume, and share commitments.
Develops quantified value proposition for product line with effective pricing strategy.
Continuously and proactively evaluates industry needs, proposing options for new sales and pricing strategies.
Supports management with potential future M&A analysis, as needed.
Provides hands-on training for sales team including how to sell, price, and grow product line(s).
Gathers and analyses user feedback to prioritize features and identify areas for improvement, acting as the voice of the customer.
Evaluates potential features, prioritizing based on business impact and user value, and creating a product backlog.
Works closely with internal teams to ensure smooth product launches.
Provides recommendations to upper management on new market expansion, with associated data to support recommendations.
Manages the product development process, setting timelines, and ensuring the product is delivered on time and within budget.
Develops launch strategies, creates product messaging, and collaborates with marketing teams to promote the product.
Tracks key metrics, analyzing user data and identifying areas for optimization.
Effectively communicates product vision, requirements, and updates to various stakeholders.
Serves as a strategic, outside-of-the-box thinker prepared to challenge the status quo.
Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to visit customers, support sales leads, explore markets, and attend tradeshows / industry events.

Required Experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration; relevant experience in a metallurgical sciences, mining, and/or construction field
7+ years of prior experience in managing a scientific or engineering based product line, or operational/commercial experience that exemplifies Product Management capability including successful new product introduction.
High effectiveness in managing cross functional teams.
Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask, and work well under pressure.
Team player.
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Exhibits an entrepreneurial mindset driven by a proven track record.
Self-directed with the ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

The Project Manager will layout the jobs he/she is assigned. The Project Superintendent will supervise, coordinate, schedule, and oversee employees, equipment, and subcontractors on general construction projects. The Project Superintendent will proactively anticipate staffing, materials, and equipment requirements for efficient project execution while upholding stringent safety standards. The role encompasses the coordination of diverse aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, adhering to timelines, and maintaining a focus on safety.
