Electrician

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Electrician with a strong background in commercial construction. The ideal candidate has completed an apprenticeship, holds the necessary licensing, and is confident working on large-scale, fast-paced construction projects.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, conduit, lighting, switchgear, and distribution systems.
* Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and construction documents to ensure accurate installations.
* Layout and run conduit, cable trays, and raceways according to specifications.
* Terminate and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
* Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to coordinate work schedules.
* Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and repairs using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Ensure all work is performed in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
* Lead or mentor apprentices and less-experienced electricians on-site.
* Maintain jobsite safety by following OSHA standards and company protocols.
* Document work progress and complete daily reports as required.

Required Experience

Qualifications
* Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.
* Valid journeyman electrician license (state/local).
* Minimum 3–5 years of commercial construction electrical experience.
* Proficiency in conduit bending, panel installation, and wiring for large commercial projects.
* Strong understanding of NEC, blueprint reading, and commercial electrical systems.
* Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project needs.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various site conditions.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
