We have an immediate for a Clinical Support Specialist to join the SGC team. We are looking for someone who has a healthcare background and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing computer systems to research pertinent information regarding eligibility and benefits of members
  • Construction of case structure through entering pertinent information into the computer system
  • Providing telephone support for members and providers to assist in answering questions pertinent to the activity of the assigned medical management unit.
  • Provides administrative support to the department


  • High school diploma or GED with 2-3 years’ experience in the medical health field (e.g., medical assistant, medical secretary) or 2-3 years’ experience in a managed care clinical department
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Computer skills with the ability to learn specialized software
  • Working knowledge of health insurance industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Preferred managed care experience specifically in clinical management.
