Business Systems Programmer Analyst to support business critical Supply Chain systems

Qualified candidates for the Supply chain role will be required to assist business partners with analysis, design and testing for  third party software packages. The ideal candidate is familiar with warehouse/distribution center/transportation processes, is analytical and collaborative, enjoys the challenge of learning new systems and keeps current with IT industry trends and software options.


  • Understands business operations and business systems, providing subject matter expertise for application and/or technology solutions
  • Creates and maintains documentation of supply chain systems through business process review meetings with functional users and through technical review of the systems
  • Work as part of complete support team consisting of functional users, third party software developers and in house system support personnel
  • Analyze operational and user requirements to deliver solutions to meet business objectives
  • Provide timely and professional critical issue resolution, including root cause analysis
  • Lead upgrades and implementations of added functionality
  • Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved
  • Provide business continuity and disaster recovery support if needed
  • Stay current with changing technologies and tools
  • Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through relationship-building and collaboration

Qualifications for Supply Chain:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting supply chain applications.
    • Unix, Windows OS, Relational DB, SQL, Micro Focus Cobol
  • Ability to write technical specifications and manage the transition of modifications through the quality assurance and change control process
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable in both professional office and active warehouse environments
  • Ability to work comfortably in multiple technologies and learn new technologies quickly
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
